Service
Our team of board-certified Physical Therapists strive to ensure that the performance of daily activities is made easier for our patients. They can provide services such as:
- Create a customized plan of action to meet the needs of the patient
- Train patients, family members, or PSWs/DSPs are rigorously trained in techniques for managing disabilities or illnesses
- Maintain or improve patient’s flexibility and mobility through exercises
- Manage health conditions and ways to prevent a re-occurrence
- Educating patient on health and fitness
- Recommend changes to the patient’s home to improve the mobility of the patient
Our team of Registered Nurses and Licensed Practical Nurses ensure that our patients receive the best of medical care in the comfort of their homes.
Whether your loved one is recovering from an acute illness or requires assistance with managing a chronic condition, our team of experts work according to the plan of care to provide suitable and appropriate healthcare service for them. Some of the services we provide are:

Our team of Occupational Therapists is to help our patients recover or maintain their mental, physical and cognitive skills as quickly as possible. They can provide services such as:
- Create a customized plan of action to meet the needs of the patient
- Train PSWs/DSPs are rigorously trained in how to meet the needs of the patient
- Recommend changes to the patient’s home to improve the mobility of the patient
- Create exercises to improve the patient’s ability to perform activities of daily living (e.g. dressing or cooking)
- Educate patient on economical movement
We provide Speech Therapist sessions for adults who are encountering challenges in their vocal abilities as a result of developmental delay, learning disabilities or vocal distress. They can provide services such as:
- Create a customized plan of action to meet the needs of the patient
- Teach patient to control or strengthen tongue, jaw, face muscles or breathing mechanisms
- Instruct clients in techniques for more effective communication, such as sign language, lip reading or voice improvement
Self-Direction
Assistance
ECHS qualified professionals are available to assist with providing the skills training to enable families and clients to independently direct and manage self-directed services. They can also provide information on effective communication and problem-solving skills.
Trained Support
Workers
At ECHS, a Personal Support Worker (PSW) or Direct Support Person (DSP) comes to the home to provide hands-on assistance with activities of daily living, including the following:
- Dressing and Grooming
- Bathing: Baths, Showers, Bed Baths
- Rest Room Assistance
- Transition from Bed to Chair
- Walking, Exercise Assistance
- Medication Reminders
- Transport to Doctor’s Appointments
- Shopping
- Light Housekeeping
- Meal Preparation
ECHS PSWs/DSPs are rigorously trained to provide this care with a professional, cheerful spirit, preserving the client’s safety, hygiene, and dignity
Community Integration
Activities
ECHS PSWs/DSPs are available to help children and adults live successfully in their community by providing support services that promote safety and dignity with a person-centered approach. Our goal is to obtain optimal individual independence, health, and quality of life.
